Our Roots
L3 Recovery was designed and launched by Pastor Andy Elliott at The Beat Church.
Pastor Andy is a former addict turned church planter and pastor. His journey through recovery, molestation, the early loss of his mother, and a series of other difficulties taught him how difficult it can be to move from a painful past to a purposeful present.
Over the years he found many had experienced the same frustrations and disappointments with the existing recovery groups which offered some accountability and support but little hope or vision for the future. Through prayer and Bible study he developed L3 Recovery as a new model with a simple focus on Loving God, Loving People, and Living Like We Mean It.
Jesus reduced all of the other commands to loving God and loving people. Like Jesus, Andy believes all of the laws of recovery can be condensed into these two commands. When we love we forgive, we make amends, and every other action needed to build our lives and restore relationships. The path to freedom from grief, abuse, anxiety, self-harm, and addiction are all found in the message of Jesus to love God, love people, and live like we mean it. Each week we dive into a practical way to intentionally live love and we follow the path of Jesus to freedom, purpose, and joy.

Pastor Andy
Has been married to his wife since 1996. They have five beautiful children (four girls and one boy). He is a church planter, pastor, and ministry coach. His passion for recovery comes from his own experience. He originally found Jesus when a friend threw him in the back of his car passed out drunk and drove him to a local pastors house. Over the years he has struggled through the pain of being molested as child, extreme social anxiety, the early loss of his mother, and many difficulties. God brought and continues to bring purpose from the pain and Pastor Andy has committed his life to brining hope and healing to the broken through relationship with Jesus and His family.
